« On March 25th, 2015 my sister found out she had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. On March 25th 2015 I found out what Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is. On that day, Francesca became a new team to root for and I became her very first fan. I am not afraid that she might not make it. I am afraid that she is afraid. With relatives, friends and people we don’t know we enliven her time in the hospital. We shout: “GoFrancy, LeukeBeGone” and each day brings a surprise, each week a new initiative, always with a double agenda: bringing her to victory and making people aware of how important it is to donate blood, platelets and bone marrow. 300 T-Shirts #GoFrancy sold (proceeds given to charity), 600 exhortation videos from both celebreties and unknowns, blood collection centres invaded with bags for Francesca: and then stripe banners, flashmob, Italian national television, evening news, Corriere della Sera newspaper … and for the rest: come find out for yourself!
Oh, I almost forgot… FRANCY DID WIN!
And this Non-profit exists to honor that victory!»
